Bio

Dr. Joseph DiMauro, the founder, of Horsham Veterinary Hospital, graduated (Dean's List) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984 and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Temple University. He founded Horsham Veterinary Hospital in 1986.

Dr. DiMauro is actively involved in community affairs. He is Treasurer of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the Suburban Horsham Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Board of Directors of the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation and is a past President of the Horsham Rotary. As a member of the Hatboro-Horsham Partners in Education, he frequently speaks at career days and other forums. He has also spoken nationally about the practice of veterinary medicine. He is a recipient of the Small Business Administration Entrepreneurial Success award for Southeastern Pennsylvania and has also received a commendation from State Senator Stewart Greenleaf. In addition to his wife and three children, his family includes Fredo and Massimo, Boston Terriers; and Cecil, a Blue-Fronted Amazon Parrot.

Dr. DiMauro retired from Horsham Veterinary Hospital in 2023.
