Dr. Christine Tranchida, VMD, grew up in nearby Fort Washington and attended the Colonial School District. She earned her BA in Biology at Lehigh University, graduating in 1992. She then attended The University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School and graduated in 1996. After spending her first year as a veterinarian in Souderton, Dr. Tranchida starting work at Horsham Veterinary Hospital in 1997. She has remained at that practice ever since. Most of her patients are dogs and cats, but she also enjoys seeing rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and other small mammals. Recently, she added goats, sheep and alpacas to the list of animals she is able to care for. Dr. Tranchida lives in Upper Dublin with her husband, 3 children, 3 cats and 2 dogs, plus occasional foster kittens!
