Dr. DiMauro is owner and founder of Horsham Veterinary Hospital PC. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, he holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration from Temple University. Dr. DiMauro entered veterinary school in September 1980. He was a student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Philadelphia, PA until May of 1984, graduating on the Dean's list. After graduating Dr. DiMauro worked as a staff veterinarian for Hopewell Veterinary Hospital, Hollywood, PA. At the same time he began to formulate plans to establish his own practice, where he could put his business education to good use. Dr. DiMauro is actively involved in community affairs. He is treasurer of the Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine. He is a past Chairman of the Board of the Suburban Horsham Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce, where he has been a member for more than 14 years. He served on the Board of Directors of the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation, from 1991 to 1994. He is also past President of the Horsham Rotary. As a member of the Hatboro-Horsham Partners in Education, he speaks frequently at career days and other forums. He has also spoken nationally on various topics related to veterinary medicine. In 1996, Dr. DiMauro was the recipient of the Small Business Administration Entrepreneurial Success award for Southeastern Pennsylvania and also received a commendation from State Senator Stewart Greenleaf. He was born and bred in the area and when not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children and pets (including a German Shepherd named Deuce, a Boston Terrier named Quincy, and a Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot named Cecil!!).
