Horsham Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal health care facility providing care, treatment, boarding and grooming for dogs, cats, and other small animals. The hospital is located in Horsham, PA, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, a short drive from the Willow Grove Interchange # 343 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The goal of Horsham Veterinary Hospital is to provide high quality medicine, surgery, grooming, and boarding for small animals. In addition to primary well-care, HVH offers a full range of health care services including: medicine, surgery, dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology, in-house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology (including ultrasound), endoscopy, emergency service, hospitalization, grooming, and boarding.
The hospital first opened its doors in February, 1986--a true "start-up" practice--inhabiting a house that was the former quarters of an insurance agency. In other lives it was home to a Justice of the Peace, and originally a residence. The two story frame building and equipment were purchased with the help of a modest SBA loan. With the help of family and friends, the building was painted, patched, and outfitted to become the new hospital. In 1996, HVH completed a construction project two years in the making. A spacious addition and renovation of the original building was finished giving the facility 6400 square feet of usable space.
