Behavior/Training

We offer a variety of classes, scheduled days, nights, and weekends for our clients' convenience. We also offer behavior consultations. Our dog trainers are skilled and educated in the most current training methods and strive to provide our clients with top-notch care based on science. Our mission is to educate and improve the human-animal bond, as well as to provide our clients with the skill they should expect from animal professionals, and the compassion they deserve from animal lovers.

Lisa Berkenstock has over 30 years of professional experience. She holds a BS in biology from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture, and is also a licensed veterinary technician. Lisa is a certified professional dog trainer and is affiliated with the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians (SVBT) She is also an adjunct professor at Manor College, teaching a “Breeds and Behavior” class where she educates the next generation of veterinary technicians.

Dana Ebbecke is a certified professional dog trainer. She graduated with a BA in psychological and social sciences from Penn State University. She is a master’s candidate in psychology with a concentration in animal behavior at Hunter College and also has a certificate in applied behavior analysis from Arcadia University.

Beth Strecker is a certified professional dog trainer. She is a volunteer at the Pennsylvania SPCA and is committed to improving animal welfare. At the SPCA, she works with dogs coming in from cruelty cases and advocates for enriching their lives through positive based training.

Julie Raymond teaches both Puppy Kindergarten and Pet Dog Manners I. As a certified veterinary technician, she became interested in the behavioral component of treating pets. Julie has been a foster parent for seeing-eye dogs and has also been a foster home for rescue dogs awaiting their permanent homes
